Service Level Agreement (SLA) & Privacy

Our core web tools are open-access with 99.9% client-side uptime. Because qr-code.love generates barcodes directly inside your browser's V8/SpiderMonkey JavaScript runtime, your private links and sensitive WiFi passwords never pass through our servers.

For that same reason, our customer support team does not store backups of your generated graphics or payload texts. Always save your exported SVG files to your local hard drive or cloud backup.

Common Support Questions

Why won't my printed QR code scan?

The most common causes are: (1) Insufficient color contrast between foreground and background, (2) Missing quiet zone whitespace borders (minimum 4 modules on all sides), (3) Printing too small for the scanning distance, or (4) Obscuring finder pattern corner eyes with large logos.

Which file format should I send to a professional print shop?

Always supply pure Vector SVG. SVGs do not have fixed pixel dimensions and can scale to billboard sizes without blurriness or pixelation. If raster images are required, export our 2048px (Print 300 DPI) or 4096px (Ultra High-Res) PNG.

Do I need to attribute qr-code.love when publishing my QR codes?

No. All generated QR codes come with a royalty-free commercial license and no attribution is ever required.

How do I report a software bug or visual glitch?

Please select "Bug Report" in the contact form above and include: (1) Your operating system (e.g. Windows 11, macOS Sequoia, iOS 18), (2) Browser and version (e.g. Chrome 128, Safari 18), (3) The specific QR code type being generated, and (4) Any error messages shown in the developer console.

Responsible Security Disclosure Policy

We take client-side web security seriously. If you discover a potential vulnerability regarding SVG XML sanitization, clickjacking protections, or regex parsing flaws, please send an encrypted report to support@qr-code.love. We acknowledge all security disclosures within 24 hours.

Can I integrate qr-code.love into our intranet or offline kiosk?

Yes! Because the codebase relies entirely on vanilla JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS without server-side APIs or node runtimes, the entire project folder can run locally on an offline touchscreen kiosk, USB flash drive, or air-gapped internal intranet server.

How do I ensure my QR code will scan across all lighting conditions?

Always maintain at least 70% contrast between dark foreground modules and the light background. Avoid printing dark grey on black or yellow on white. In addition, select Reed-Solomon Error Correction Level Q (~25% recovery) if the code will be placed outdoors or on high-touch surfaces.

Before you write, a two-minute check

When a code will not scan, the cause is usually one of a few things, and each takes a moment to rule out.

If the code still fails, include the payload from the "View encoded data" panel and a photo of the print in your message, and say which phone and which app you tested with.

Enterprise Print & Webmaster Partnerships

Are you a commercial printing company, graphic design agency, or web hosting provider interested in embedding our open-source, client-side static QR engine into your prepress workflow or client portals?

Our team provides guidance on integrating automated SVG vector generation, CMYK color palette mapping, and headless client-side rendering. Reach out via email with the subject line "Enterprise Integration Inquiry".
