Terms of Service
Effective Date: August 22, 2026 | Last Updated: September 25, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using qr-code.love (located at https://qr-code.love), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, all applicable laws, and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this website.
2. 100% Free & Commercial Usage License
qr-code.love grants you a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to:
- Generate unlimited static QR codes for personal, educational, non-profit, and commercial purposes.
- Print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and display generated QR codes (PNG, SVG, JPG, WebP) on packaging, flyers, billboards, merchandise, digital media, business cards, and websites.
- Modify, recolor, resize, and integrate exported SVG vectors into graphic design software (such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Figma, Canva, or Photoshop) without attribution or royalty fees.
- Resell physical products or marketing materials that incorporate QR codes generated by qr-code.love.
3. Ownership of Generated QR Codes
You retain 100% ownership and copyright over the content and visual output of any QR code generated using qr-code.love. qr-code.love claims no intellectual property rights or ownership over your encoded data, URLs, or custom logos.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
While our client-side software does not monitor your private content, you agree not to use qr-code.love to generate QR codes intended for:
- Phishing, credential harvesting, malware distribution, or deceptive redirect attacks.
- Distributing illegal, defamatory, harassing, or fraudulent materials.
- Violating the intellectual property, privacy, or legal rights of any third party.
- Conducting denial-of-service or automated abusive traffic against third-party endpoints.
5. Nature of Static QR Codes & Pre-Print Testing
Static QR codes directly encode data into the binary matrix pattern. Once printed onto physical materials, the encoded payload cannot be edited or redirected.
Mandatory Test Scan Notice: You are solely responsible for testing your QR codes across multiple physical smartphone devices (iOS Apple Camera and Google Android Lens) under realistic lighting and distance conditions before commissioning bulk print runs or commercial manufacturing. qr-code.love is not liable for print or packaging replacement costs resulting from incorrect URLs, insufficient color contrast, or cropped quiet zone borders.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The materials and software tools on qr-code.love are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. qr-code.love makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property.
7. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall qr-code.love, its authors, or its operators be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, business interruption, or commercial printing errors) arising out of the use or inability to use the tools on qr-code.love, even if an authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.
8. Third-Party Links & Advertising
qr-code.love may contain third-party advertisements and external hyperlinks. We have not reviewed all of the external sites linked through advertisements or user-generated payloads and are not responsible for the contents or privacy practices of any such linked site.
9. Modifications to Terms
qr-code.love may revise these Terms of Service for its website at any time without prior notice. By continuing to use this website, you agree to be bound by the current version of these Terms of Service.
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless qr-code.love, its authors, contributors, operators, and hosting providers from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from: (a) your use of and access to the website tools; (b) your violation of any term of these Terms of Service; (c) your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right; or (d) any claim that your generated QR codes caused harm or damages to any third party.
11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with international commercial law standards and the applicable laws of your jurisdiction without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to your use of the website shall be resolved through good-faith informal negotiation before initiating formal legal proceedings.
12. International Compliance & Sanctions
You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country that is subject to applicable government embargoes or trade sanctions, and that you are not listed on any prohibited or restricted party lists when utilizing our open-access web utilities.
13. Severability & Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under any applicable law, such unenforceability or invalidity shall not render these Terms unenforceable or invalid as a whole, and such provisions shall be deleted without affecting the remaining provisions herein. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between qr-code.love and you in relation to your use of this Website.
14. Files You Load Into the Tool
Images you select for the logo feature are processed on your device and are not transmitted to us. Because we never receive them, you grant us no licence to them and we hold no copy. You are responsible for having the right to use any image or text you place in a code, including trademarks and photographs of people.
The same applies to the data you type into the forms. It is encoded on your device and leaves it only inside the file you choose to download.
15. Privacy, Consent & Data Protection
Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we process and why. It includes our notice under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (section 7) and your rights under the GDPR and CCPA. Using the generator never requires you to give personal data or consent to anything. Analytics runs only if you press Allow analytics, and you can withdraw that at any time from Privacy choices at the foot of every page, with no effect on the service.
Personal data you put into a code. If you encode another person's personal data, such as a name, phone number or email address in a vCard, that data stays on your device and we never receive it. Where you do this for anything other than a personal or domestic purpose, you decide the purpose and means of that processing. You are then responsible for having a lawful basis for it, including any consent the DPDP Act or other applicable law requires, before you print or share the code. Static codes cannot be edited or recalled once printed, so check before you publish.
